How do booking systems work? How do booking systems work? What the HELL is an Admin Assassin?

Introducing Hades: the newest member of the Admin Assassin team!At Admin Assassin, we’re excited to announce that we have a new member of our admin team! As you already know, we love our furry team members, and our beloved tripod, Hela, joined us back in 2023. Now we’d like to introduce Hades, another brave little tripod and a beautiful soul with a heart-rending story.

(Hades) Reef’s story…

At just a few months old, Reef’s only worry should have been chasing leaves and curling up in warm laps. Instead, he had to fight for his chance at life because he was born with heart-breaking challenges…

A Shepherd Cross, Reef had a severely deformed front leg, causing constant pain and making it almost impossible for him to walk. Sadly, he also had a large umbilical hernia that desperately needed surgery.

When Reef was small, his foster carers were devastated to see him drag his tiny body across the floor. But giving up on him? That was out of the question for them, and this is not something we will ever do too.

Reef was born as the runt of an unplanned litter in a home overwhelmed with too many animals. All five of his siblings found homes, but he was left behind due to his health issues and was not available for adoption until after his surgery.

The vet team recommended that the only way to relieve Reef’s discomfort was to amputate his painful limb and repair the hernia in one major operation. Afterwards, they gave him all the necessary support he needed to help him heal and adapt to life as a canine tripod.

Reef now needs months of hydrotherapy and physio to build strength in his only remaining front leg, which is already weaker than normal.

Hades the Shepherd Cross

This little boy has truly stolen our hearts… Now known as Hades, AJ first spotted Reef on Facebook in mid-June 2025. By mid-July, he was listed for adoption, and we sent our application within five minutes! We then had a phone call and a virtual home visit within the week.

On a Friday afternoon, we drove to Gloucester with Hela to meet Hades, which was a long 5 ½ hours round trip. We didn’t know how the two dogs would interact, but they were perfect together and Hela was such a good girl. The next day, we got the call to say that Hades would be joining our household, and we picked him up 10 days later.

Hades is here to stay!

Hades has started his new life with us and is now safe living in his new home. Despite everything he’s been through, he has a gentle spirit, kind eyes, and he’s full of determination. Hades doesn’t know what lies ahead. But we do, and we know it won’t be easy. The post-surgery rehab, the long road ahead… And we’ll be with him every step of the way because we’re his new family now and we’re in this for the long haul.

I’m sure you agree that Hades is a real cutie and we’re so happy that Hela loves him too!

Don’t forget! At Admin Assassin, we provide admin support and social media management so you can focus on the things you enjoy (including doggy cuddles).
