It’s that time again! As we head towards the end of the year, tis the season of giving and getting organised! With Christmas just around the corner, we’re busy helping our small business clients tidy up their offices before they go on their break. Get organised with an office tidy up

A cluttered office leads to a cluttered mind! Tidying your office is a great way to end the year, as you can shut the door with everything sorted and in its rightful place. Get rid of any Post-its and paperwork you no longer need. Archive any files that you need to keep but don’t use on a daily basis. Make sure your filing systems and labelling work for you and your business.

Review your current office systems and processes to see where you can streamline or automate certain tasks. And don’t forget to clean up your CRM and any digital folders too.

How to clean your emails

Clean up your emails by creating e-folders, named for different purposes such as Leads, Clients, Networking, etc. File any emails you need to keep and delete those you don’t need. If you use an email system like Outlook, you could colour-code your emails, so you know what to do with them when you return after Christmas.

If you have a few leads lurking in your inbox, then why not write to them? A ‘magic email’ is a short email to those who have contacted you during the year for information about your products or services. This type of email can re-trigger people’s interest by reminding them about your business. Use a message like, “As I haven’t heard back from you, I will assume your priorities have changed…”.
